NOTICE	JUNIOR MATCH REPORTS Following a number of emails and queries to the website from parents and players, please note that match reports can be submitted by parents, volunteers or club officials. Any match reports or team information is greatly welcomed and will be uploaded to the appropriate page once received. The junior pages are currently up-to-date with all submissions (01/03/10), so if you can't find a match report or there is little (or no) information regarding your team's progress this season then please send to admin@sherburnwrfc.com or contact your team manager.
6th Mar	Bishopthorpe U16 Girls 1 – 4 SWRFC U16 Girls Sherburn combined hard work and clinical finishing to secure a good win and maintain their position at the top of the table. The home side started brightly and defenders Hayley Lewis and Rhiannon Spencer had to be at thier best to deny Bishopthorpe's strikers. However, Rose soon found their stride and went ahead with a well taken goal by Amy Lawrence. Fellow striker and Player of the Match Lizzie Hare added two more before half time and Bishopthorpe's endeavour was rewarded with a goal to make it 1 - 3 at the interval. Sherburn were comfortable in the second half; midfielders Rosie Bradley and Hannah Davis supported the strike force well and Katie Sadler was rarely troubled in goal. The win was sealed when Lawrence scored her second goal of the match allowing hard-working Bishoptorpe no way back into the game.
20th Feb	JUNIOR GOALKEEPER SESSIONS U12s, U14s and U18s coach Richard Collins is currently holding Goalkeeper sessions for juniors on a Monday night at the football club 6pm - 7pm.
