Playing in torrid conditions Sherburn completed the league double over local rivals Robin Hood Athletic thanks to goals from Matthew Haddock, James Lancashire and Ryan Hudson's second goal in as many games. The conditions hindered both defences but Sherburn's second half performance was too strong for the away side. Sherburn withstood a great deal of pressure from set pieces and keeper Bradley was forced to make some good saves from long range shots, but some neat finishing from the home side sealed the game - Haddock's volley into the top corner from the edge of the box the highlight of the match. Overall the team never really settled but grinded out an important league victory.

The reserves now move into 5th with a view to finishing in the top three.
