West Yorkshire Premier League                                                                First Team 1 - 0 Boroughbridge

A second half Alex Booth goal gave the First Team their first victory of the season at home today.

Sherburn dominated the game with greater possession; Williams back in the starting eleven and running down the flanks with great success. Sherburn's quality in the final third was poor at times, but the return of Dave Haley to centre half and Simon Haddock moving to midfield gave the team a more solid formation and they never really looked like conceding.

Sherburn looked like heading for their third draw of the season despite enjoying more of the ball than the away side, but substitute Daniel Withington made an instant impact; finding some space for himself before slotting a perfect pass to the back post for Sherburn captain Alex Booth to score with a neat finish.
