West Yorkshire Premier League                                                              First Team 3 - 1 Rothwell Athletic

Two excellent Lenny Mason goals and a fourth of the season for the impressive Chris Thompson sealed Sherburn's second home win of the season. With players still missing from the squad due to injury and work commitments Sherburn's squad delighted manager Nick Peacock after a poor first half where the team lacked tempo and quality in front of goal. Captain Alex Booth led from the front and urged his players on to victory in an impressive second half performance. Notable praise went to Stuart Liddle and Scott Williams.

West Yorkshire Alliance Division 1                                                        Robin Hood Athletic 5 - 2 Reserves

The reserves looked the better side in the first half away at an improved Robin Hood Athletic side, but within five minutes of the second half found themselves 4-0 down when the home side's left winger tore open Sherburn's right flank and crafted two goals. Sherburn eventually rallied and scored two quick goals, looking more of a threat when Hudson moved into midfield - Potter and James Lancashire finishing neatly. Sherburn had further chances to score but ultimately left it too late before Wainwright conceded a penalty with minutes to go.
