West Yorkshire Alliance Division 1 Reserves 4 - 3 Knaresborough Town
A fine second half performance helped Sherburn to three points in a hard fought game against league rivals Knaresborough. Sherburn were 3 - 1 down at half time after a number of careless errors, but two second half goals from Neil Dixon and a neat finish by Jamie Potter gave Sherburn the win. Bradley Jordan netted Sherburn's first whilst playing into a heavy wind; the second forty five saw the visitors pinned to their own half and Sherburn always looked like scoring. Notable praise went to James Beaston and Dixon who should have completed a hat-trick but his long range effort skimmed off the top of the bar.
